For vacation this summer, I headed to San Francisco to visit my brother and sister in law. They actually live in Los Gatos, but we made a few trips into the city.
Day 1: We spent the day in Los Gatos area. We went to Santana Row for lunch then spent the afternoon in Los Gatos.
Day 2: We went into San Francisco. We went along the Embarcadero (sp?) and visited Pier 39 and Fishermans Warf. Went down Crooked Street and to Coit Tower. Also, we went to Union Square and watched the trolleys turn around.

Nice pictures! San Francisco is really fun. I live about 20 minutes Los Gatos and there's a lot of great things to do around there too. You should check out the downtown area and Vasona Park, or go to Tech Museum in Downtown San Jose (its not just fun for tech geeks).
P.S. It's Lombard Street, not Crooked Street
