Jitterbug!Jitterbug!SO! Last Sunday the bride of the wedding that I was going to be in called all the bridesmaids and groomsmen to come over to go over some stuff. She was "freaking out." When we got there we were asked to be on the TLC show, Rock the Reception! The premise is that we all dance the first dance with them to an upbeat song! We got Take Me Out, by Wham. Not my first choice, but fun nonetheless! I was totally excited, but that meant only one week of rehearsals. Ug.

We rehearsed 4 hours a night (give or take) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. It was brutal and I missed my family. They missed me too.

The day of the wedding was so much fun.

We reminised and drank champange while getting ready and getting everything ready. After the ceremony (where my brother was the officiant) we danced our hearts out for the bride & groom!

The show should air in September. I think we're either the finale or the episode right before the finale!

The wedding on the whole was good. Izzy was the flower girl, but didn't make it down the isle. She had a bit of a meltdown. But not after getting ready and looking pretty.

Last Friday I had a makeover done and figured out how to do it by myself. Now I consider myself a bit of an expert! Thanks MAC! Yay. I got the new mineral MAC and that'll be another blog topic.

Anyway. Rock the Reception is on TLC on Tuesdays at 8:30pm EST. WATCH IT! Ya!
