Our House
Our house went on the market yesterday. I spent 2 weeks packing my rooms up and then 2 excruciating days cleaning my house.
Living Room
Dining Room
Kitchen
Nursery
Guest Room
Master Bedroom
The comment I have heard the most is "It's so clean."
Of course it is! I worked my arse off so it would be!!!
On a happier note, I'm gonna have a holiday party cause my house is clean.
(To give you an idea of what my house was like before- I have friends who have come over multiple times and they still don't know what the upstairs looks like...lol...)

Looks wonderful! I commiserate with you in having to keep it clean while it's on the market!!
We got an offer the day the house went on the market. Now we have to wait to find out if the bank accepts it. We are short selling so they have all the power.

sweet.......i am scared of owning a home one day lol....
miss-b: I have a very loving hubby who let me go wild when we moved in. You can't really tell in the pics but the walls of the bottom half of the stairway are a different color than the rest (gives it a lot of dimension.)
SheP: It can be very scary but is part of the whole "being an adult" thing. Don't be in a hurry to grow up!

Jessie- our house is valued at over $50,000.00 less than what we owe on the mortgage due to the housing market issues in CA so we didn't have a choice when it came to the short sale.
***********UPDATE*********************
Our short sale has been denied as of March 11th. The mortgage insurer AIG demanded a payment of $15,000.00. Seriously, if I had $15,000.00 do you think I would be selling my home?!?!?
We submitted for a Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure and AIG demanded $24,300.00. Uuummm....SERIOUSLY!!!!! That would pay my mortgage for 9 months and we could hang in there and try to sell when the market picks up. We don't have that kind of money.
Oh and BOTH of those demands for money are illegal!!! Our lawyer is going to write letters to our state representative/congressmen, Washington, etc. to let them know what is really going on.
So know we are waiting for them to foreclose and because there is a freeze on foreclosures our house will be sitting there for awhile. We have moved out already so we are going to see if we can find someone to look out for it. We like our neighbors and an empty house doesn't do well. It's a sad situation...
